The federal government is now in the business of dad jokes. Seriously. Check out the new federal database of dad jokes.

This database is thanks to the National Responsible Father Clearinghouse. Their goal is "to provide, facilitate, and disseminate current research and proven and innovative strategies that will encourage and strengthen fathers". Remember where the Constitution says "the federal government shall provide for the cultivation of good fathers"? No, we don't either.

It gets better. They state: "Funding for the NRFC is provided through the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005". Somehow funding for this boondoggle comes from legislation to reduce boondoggles. Time to groan.
