Quick bump: Choose evil
The Pope says Americans must choose evil.
In short, Pope Francis says both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are evil choices, but Americans must choose one of them.
Pope Francis declared both American presidential candidates are "against life", one for being pro-choice on abortion and the other for being pro-closure on borders. He then urged Americans to vote for evil:
They say not voting is ugly. It is not good. You must vote. You must choose the lesser evil. Who is the lesser evil? That lady, or that gentleman? I don't know. Everyone, in conscience, (has to) think and do this."
This is blasphemy, not leadership. A true leader would encourage people to avoid evil. A true leader would suggest alternatives that aren't evil, like Chase Oliver or even write-in candidates like Mickey Mouse. A true leader would help people resist evil, and guide the way to positive change.
Pope Francis has lost his way, just as America has. Choosing evil cultivates more evil. Accepting the lesser evil, over and over, is exactly how we mired ourselves in this ugly political wasteland.
If we want a better world, we must obstinately refuse to accept lesser evils. That is our only chance of escaping this dystopia where even the Pope is leading us to hell.
